Learning French at Larkhill
Children at Larkhill enjoy learning French from Year 3 through to Year 6. We use Language Angels for our lessons. Please see below some examples of the slides we use to develop French knowledge and skills. This unit is teaching children about musical instruments and uses a range of speaking, listening, reading and writing activities. The lessons are interactive and all children join in through listening to the examples, practicing together and rehearsing their learning.
The reading parts of the lessons help children to improve and to check their understanding. Working in pairs and small groups makes the lessons fun and engaging.
Children particularly enjoy the Speaking and Reading Challenges and then checking the answers.
It can get quite competitive too when working in our groups!
