Larkhill Primary School is located in the garrison town of Larkhill, Wiltshire. It lies just 1.5 miles north of the prehistoric monument of Stonehenge, making us one of the closest primary schools in the country to this world-famous site. Deeply rooted in history, we are a school with our sights firmly set on the future for each of our pupils.

As the principal of Larkhill Primary, I believe passionately that our children deserve to Reach higher, Go further and Achieve more and that Primary school really should be where the magic happens! We pride ourselves on providing an excellent curriculum enriched with a range of experiences to ensure that our children thoroughly enjoy their time at school.

At Larkhill Primary we are committed to:

  • Encouraging our children to have high expectations of themselves and strive to do their very best
  • Providing a rich and stimulating environment that fosters the enjoyment of learning and enables our children to develop skills for life.
  • Providing a nurturing environment where each individual is valued and is able to achieve beyond any limiting expectation.
  • Celebrating our pupils’ successes both inside and outside of school- enabling them to take pride in their achievements and encouraging them to be aspirational about their future lives.
  • Developing a core set of values within our pupils  in order to equip them to become responsible and active citizens and set the foundation for further academic success.
  • Ensuring that there is a genuine partnership between the school, our children, their parents, and the wider community in order to secure the very best for our young children and our military community as a whole.
